This past week flew by...and I'm still NOT ready for Christmas - still have to decorate the tree today!!

This nest with the blue eggs under its protective cloche is loveliness personified. Thank you for sharing. There is nothing more beautiful than the blue of a blue egg! My favorite eggs at Easter have always been the turquoise ones!

I think we all have those walls that we would love to knock down. The blue eggs need to hatch and fly away from these walls. Wonderful vision of thought as always!

With the holiday coming I have the feeling of "family nesting" to welcome our family. Most of us prepare for months before the holiday just like a bird building her nest to welcome her family.

Well hello there Tam :)...yes walls are crumbling at our feet! they try to build them back up, but we shall not let that happen..onward...upward...we have invested our hearts and souls in goals, hopes and dreams....we will not stand by and be walled up!
PS...yes everything you see at the painted nest has been, well, lol tweaked or created lol...the "tabletop" is actually a piece of art i created and having no room to hang it, decided to use it, placed flat :)glad you love it...it is highly representative of my parlor.

The dogs are so adorable and BTW that lovely circle vent thing? I have a similar one. I painted it pink and placed the shiny dog bowl in it. They eat in style now.

I like your phrase "I will knock down the walls that keep me out ... TODAY". Knocking down the walls makes me feel and enjoy the lovely world, your lovely poems and many more good things.
